EYU stands for Ernst & Young and You, so the ‘U’ stands for ‘you’, and it’s really about our dual commitment that we have to supporting you, and that you have to earn your career.  And it consists of three elements: learning, experiences and coaching.  What that really means is that when you join us, we will work with you.  Your coaches, whether they are your mentors, your counsellors, your performance-whatever-they-are... that your coaches will work with you to make sure you get the right experiences, so that you can flourish in your role and you can do different things that broaden you, that make you a better business adviser altogether.  They also make sure you get the right learning [opportunities] as well.  And what I’m working on with 500 professionals around the world and half-a-billion dollars’ worth of investment, at a time when other firms are cutting their budgets, is globally consistent learning [opportunities]; so our people, whether they are in Vietnam doing tax work or New York doing audit work, or London doing business advisory, they get the same high-quality learning [opportunities] wherever they are, and they get the same access to experiences, to do their job better and to broaden them.
