There is very strong social aspect to Ernst & Young in general, certainly the Bristol office.  I play for the football team, for example, so every Thursday night we play in the Corporate League, we play against all the other Big Four.  We actually played last night against PWC – we drew four all.  We were four–two up, and unfortunately couldn’t hold on to the lead, but never mind.  So that’s a great aspect of the office for me.  You know, we all play football, we’ll go for a curry when the League finishes, for example – it’s great fun, and there’s all sorts of other stuff going on in the office – there’s a social committee who have got a budget, so they take us out for free drinks, they put on events at the cinema, the races, the theatre.  There’s all sorts of things you can do, and not being from Bristol originally, I’ve definitely built my friendship network at Ernst & Young.  I mean, all my friends are pretty much people that either work at Ernst & Young or did work at Ernst & Young, and I’ve kept in touch with.  I think that really shows the sort of firm that it is in terms of the people are really friendly, and you work in teams so much that you can’t help but build those relationships.
