I think above all, it’s the people culture that they have here; the environment, the people you work with. We all have to work long hours at different parts of the year, and I think, depending on the team that you’re working with, that can kind of make or break the work that you’re doing. So that’s definitely something that is encouraging and is something that helps work move along a lot quicker than it would otherwise.
Opportunity is probably a key one as well; so things like the training programmes that they offer. They also have the Golden Passport, so any opportunities for secondments to go abroad, et cetera, and being able to do maybe 'three-month' or 'six-month' secondments in different places, either Europe or further afield; and I think that’s definitely something that encouraged me, and encourages a lot of graduates and other people in terms of opportunities they can pursue outside of the UK, and becoming involved and learning about different cultures in that respect.
The training as well – I feel that if I look at my level against other people that I know who work in industry, I feel that there is a greater amount of training that we get offered to us – different opportunities to learn more technical things, and also to broaden our own personal development, which I don’t think is necessarily pushed in other places, because as much as it’s good to widen your knowledge in terms of client focus, it’s also good to develop your personal skills, and that’s something that Ernst & Young are very keen on pushing.
