“The opportunities are right here in this firm whatever level you’re at. I was originally in facilities management, in charge of room bookings and that kind of thing. But a friend I made here really encouraged me to apply for a more client-facing role. She found out about this vacancy and helped me prepare for it. Now I’m working with some pretty senior partners and I feel like I’m really stretching myself. At times I didn’t think I could do it but here I am, and I’m enjoying it more than ever.”
